The MRCOOL Universal Variable Central Heat Pump brings the comfort of geothermal out from underground. Instead of a ground loop replace your a/c unit with an innovative side discharge low temperature air source heat pump. Half the size and half as loud as a traditional system it works practically anywhere to keep you comfortable year round. The Smart Thermostat allows app control with Apple or Android and is compatible with Nest and Alexa and the Universal is compatible with any standard thermostat.
High Efficiency
The Universal System combines a DC inverter compressor with a variable DC air handler so it can run low for long periods for better temperature and humidity control with less energy. The Universal Condenser is compatible with most TXV furnaces and air handlers and the Universal Air Handler can be installed in upflow or horizontal position. The 36K and 60K variable condensers cover applications from 2-5 tons to making sizing and stocking easier.
The Universal 36K can provide full output at at -8°C, 30K at -15°C and over 18K at -30°C.
Easy Installation
The No-Vac Quick Connect line set is kink resistant and uses threaded fittings between the condenser and air handler. No cutting, no brazing, no vacuuming, and no charging is required. It reduces hours of installation to minutes. The complete Universal Central Quick Connect system offers the fastest and most reliable installation in the industry with a perfect charge every time.
The Universal Series is AHRI certified and exceeds high efficiency cold climate air sourced heat pump standards. The DC inverter moderates operating load for less wear while leak detection and corrosion resistant fins protect your investment.
